No child’s play
Stock Management is no child’s play. Not having the right fasteners may result in breakdowns and even production stops. Moreover, mistakes in ordering, too much stock, or old stock are costly issues as 80% of the total costs of fasteners are the result of ordering, logistics and administration.
Storage System
When you choose for FABORY Stock Service, your local FABORY Centre will take over your entire stock management. We will equip your storage system or place our own in the requested location. The necessary stock for each article is determined and each bin is given its own barcode label.
Order process
Periodically, a FABORY Stock Service employee will scan the current stock levels and determine the amounts to be ordered. The order is processed and the articles are delivered to you, guaranteeing the continuance of your business processes. And if you choose the highest service level, the FABORY Stock Service employee will even put the articles in the bins for you, quickly and correctly, saving you even more time and money.
Control
Of course you will want to control your internal processes. Therefore, FABORY Stock Service provides you with information on the effective stock, the costs, and the savings. In short, we take care of everything for you, but you remain in control.
If you make your article numbers known to us, you can use them (instead of our article numbers) throughout the entire process. Labels and stickers can also be provided with these codes.
The bill of material of, for example, a machine produced by your company is given an overall article number. This number represents all the necessary fasteners. So you can order your entire production requirement in just a few order lines.
A huge range of warehouse containers, transportation carts, bins, racks, bar code strips and labels etc. is at your disposal. This ensures that your warehouse will be equipped in a convenient, user-friendly way.

This enables us to offer a wide range of solutions, both standard and tailor-made, depending on your specific needs. Barcode scanning
The online ordering system is ready for ordering via barcode scanning. Barcode scanning is fast, easy and minimises the risk of errors. It is therefore a very effective way to reduce your costs. FABORY offers a range of handheld scanners, basic as well as intelligent scanners, even with GPRS for wireless connection via a mobile network.
Every FABORY article can be provided with a barcode. You can use these barcodes to set up your stock locations. We will provide you with our barcodes, or if you prefer you can print them yourself via http://order.fabory.com.
The data of the barcodes you scan will be stored in the handheld scanner. After you have scanned the barcodes and connected the scanner to your computer with a USB cable, an order will be placed automatically at http://order.fabory.com. You then log on to check or amend your order, add an order number and send the order without further ado. Incorrect orders are virtually ruled out by the limited manual activities, the minimum number of clicks and the built-in checking possibilities.
